Positions Open for QNA REPRESENTATIVE TEAMs:
QNA is seeking Coaches and Managers for the following 2024 season representative teams:
• Under 11’s Development Team (local representative competitions)
• Under 12s -14s Representative Teams (to represent Queanbeyan at NSW Junior State Titles)
• Under 15s, 17s and Opens Representative Teams (to represent Queanbeyan at NSW Senior State Titles)
Training for Junior squads will commence in October and continue through to mid-December before breaking for the Christmas stand down period (exact dates TBC)
Coaches and Managers must be available to train on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from February to end of June 2024
Appointments will be made for the term of one representative season.
Coaching requirements:
Have obtained or be on the way to obtaining – ‘Development’ level coaching accreditation.
Coaches will be required to attend at least two education sessions throughout the season (online or in-person)
Must have a strong focus on the development of training sessions and game plans that focus on competitive player development.
Plan, attend and run all training sessions.
Attend all Representative competitions and events as required, inclusive of carnivals, team photos etc
NSW Working with Children Check.
Manager requirements:
NSW Working with Children Check
Have obtained a First Aid certificate prior to commencement of training
Attend all training sessions (Junior team Managers) o
Attend all Representative competitions and events as required, inclusive of carnivals, team photos etc
Responsible for all administrative functions associated with successful team management
Responsible for player invoicing and payment in collaboration with the Queanbeyan Netball Association treasurer.
Coaches and Managers are paid a small honorarium at the end of the representative season to cover expenses associated with representative commitments.
